This Privacy Notice (this "Notice") describes the personal data processing practices of Saint Croix, Inc. ("Saint Croix," "we," "us"). • Web Activity. Saint Croix uses cookies and other third-party tracking technologies to collect and analyze information regarding your web activity, particularly your interactions with our website. This information may include things like IP address, MAC address, and device types and identifiers.
  • Inferences. Saint Croix may use certain of the data described above to draw inferences as to your shopping behaviors and preferences. We may do so in part by leveraging information collected via advertisements we place on third-party websites, including social media platforms.

Saint Croix may otherwise from time to time process your personal data as required for our legitimate business purposes, in all cases in compliance with applicable law. We may also create anonymized and/or aggregated data sets from your personal data, which anonymized / aggregated data we may use for any of the purposes described above or any other legitimate business purposes. Anonymized / aggregated data does not constitute “personal data” and may be used in ways or for reasons not described in this Notice.

Your personal data is not used for or subject to automated decision-making or profiling. Your provision of personal data is not mandated by statute or, except where required to complete an order, required to enter into a contract.

Sharing Your Data

Saint Croix does not sell personal data to any third parties. However, we may disclose personal data to third parties in the scenarios described below. In all cases, we disclose only the data required to be disclosed for the purpose of disclosure, and those disclosures are carried out in compliance with applicable law.

  • Service Providers. Saint Croix engages various third parties to support our business and may, to enable that support, disclose your personal data to those third parties. The identity of these third parties changes from time to time, but these service providers include ecommerce tools (e.g., Shopify), shipping and fulfillment providers (e.g., UPS), and marketing and customer relationship management systems.
  • Affiliates. Your personal data may be processed by entities controlled by, controlling, or under common control with Saint Croix. Such processing will occur in accordance with this Notice.
  • Business Transfers. If Saint Croix undergoes a full or partial change of control or similar corporate transaction, your personal data may be transferred to a third-party acquirer or other counterparty to that transaction. Unless you are notified otherwise, processing by that third party will occur in accordance with this Notice.
  • Compliance. As noted in “How Your Data is Used” above, Saint Croix may need to disclose data in order to comply with applicable law, regulation, or process or order.
  • Others. Saint Croix may disclose your personal data to other third parties with your consent or for other legitimate business purposes, in each case as permitted by and in compliance with applicable law.

Our service providers may also store personal data in countries outside of the US. By using our website or providing us with your personal data, you are consenting to the transfer of that data to the United States and other countries.

Saint Croix retains your data only for so long as that data is necessary to fulfill a purpose described in this Notice. The retention period depends on the purpose(s) of processing but is calculated with reference to the amount and nature (including the sensitivity) of the data processed as well as the risk to you and your data of a security incident. When your personal data is no longer required for a valid processing purpose, we will de-identify it so that it is no longer traceable to you or delete it from our systems. Note that deidentified data is no longer considered “personal data” and therefore may be retained for longer periods.

  • Opt-out (Sales). Saint Croix does not sell your personal data. Should we do so in the future, we will update this Notice and will make available legally mandated mechanisms for opting out of such sales.
  • Non-Discrimination. Saint Croix will never discriminate or retaliate against you for exercising one of your privacy rights.
  • Complaints. If you believe our processing of your personal data violates applicable law, you may have the right to complain to certain regulatory authorities or government agencies (the identity of which depends on where you live).

Saint Croix will respond promptly to requests to exercise the rights above, though we may reject or only partially honor a request where permitted under applicable law. If allowed by applicable law, you may appoint an authorized agent to exercise the above on your behalf. Saint Croix may, as required or permitted by applicable law, take steps to verify your or your authorized agent’s identity prior to responding to a request to exercise your privacy rights.

The list above may not be exhaustive. If you live in a jurisdiction that grants privacy rights not listed above, Saint Croix will honor those rights to the extent required by law.
